The A7000 is a regenerative-air sweeper: high-velocity air is expelled downward at an angle (“blast orifice”) to “peel” debris off pavement, then suction lifts debris into the hopper.
It uses the Schwarze “WhisperWheel®” blower / fan system — a steel blower fan with abrasion-resistant housing and rubber liner, designed for heavy-duty suction and dust control.
It’s built to mount on a commercial truck chassis (cab-over or conventional), with hopper/body design to match appropriate chassis ratings.
The Schwarze Whisper Wheel is a low-noise, high-performance radial turbine blower system used across many Schwarze sweeper models, with specific dimensions and air flow varying by model.
Whisper Wheel Technology & General Specs
The Whisper Wheel fan system is a core technology designed for efficient, quiet operation and durability. Key features and general specifications include:
Low Noise: The fan system is designed to be significantly quieter than other products on the market, achieving up to 70% less noise than previous model fans.
High Performance: It is designed to provide high airflow, with models capable of producing an air column of 12,000 CFM (A4 Storm) or even 17,000 CFM (GS6 Tempest), which helps in maximum penetration and pickup of debris.
Durable Construction: The fan uses laser-cut Hardox AR (abrasion-resistant) steel blades and is balanced to 1.5 grams on both sides to eliminate the need for fan coating, increase life expectancy, and reduce vibration.
Efficient Design: The 10-blade backward incline design increases efficiency, leading to more power and less fuel consumption.
Closed-face Radial Type: The fan is a closed-face radial turbine blower type, known for consistent performance.
